Ripple Tank

Knitscene Summer 2018  has hit the stands and is full of cute, sassy style which will make you want to knit even while it’s hot!  My design, Ripple Tank, is on the cover — wheee! –and I love how the model knotted the front panel.  Adorable!

Size 9 needles and double yarn over lace make this a snap to knit in no time! Knit Picks Paragon Sport in Kenai was used for this sample in size 34″.  It’s a luxurious blend of fine merino, baby alpaca and silk with a cool feel and lovey sheen.

This top is knit from the bottom up in 2 panels and then seamed.  Eye-catching design features

include dropped armholes, side vents and a longer back hem.  Slipped stitches cleanly finish the straps.  Side panels are ribbed for a flattering fit.
